Mapping Shifts in Learning: Since the pandemic in India (2022-23)

The project hopes to map the shifts in practices, perceptions and places of learning in India since the global pandemic from 2020 – 2022. The research questions that drive the project are:

  • Learning under times of global distress, disease and uncertainty
  • Evolving conceptions and needs associated with ‘learning’ or ‘education’ 
  • Identifying and evaluating valuable learning experiences

  • Support structures that facilitate learning
  • Stakeholders and their evolving roles
  • Innovations that drive education 
  1. Learners 
  • Articulating the loss of learning 
  • Aspirations and motivation 
  • Preferred modes, tools and attitudes
